EB2-NIW advances in the July Visa Bulletin!

The Visa Bulletin for July brought excellent news: the EB2-NIW visa category has advanced!

In case you didn't know, this is a monthly document issued by the U.S. Department of State that provides information on the availability and other details about immigrant visas.

Currently, the EB2-NIW category, mentioned above, is one of the most sought after by qualified professionals from various parts of the world because it does not depend on a job offer.

What is the advancement of the Visa Bulletin and why is this good news?

The EB2-NIW category has advanced by 2 months, moving from January 15, 2023, to March 15, 2023.

This advancement applies to almost all nationalities except India and China, which continue to have a more extensive backlog.

This means that for other nationalities, those with priority dates within this time frame can now request status adjustment or have their consular interview scheduled.

This advancement could be an indication that USCIS is increasing its processing capacity and structuring itself to better meet the demand.

In practice, it could mean a faster and more efficient EB2-NIW process.

So, if you are considering applying for this category, now is the time to act. The sooner you file your process, the sooner you will secure your place in line.
